Session management is the part of the secondary school portal that controls the current school session and term of the school.

Session and term are very important information in the school portal and school administrator must ensure that they always update the session and term with the correct school equivalent at every point in time. These information are used to populate students result and also affects other school portal functionalities.

To manage and control the secondary school portal session and semester, the administrator must take the following steps

  1. Navigate to http://{PORTAL-URL}/session-management  on a web browser note* replace {PORTAL-URL} with your secondary school portal URL e.g.  http://sts.schoolwe.com/session-management
  2. The current school session and term will be displayed
  3. To modify or change the school session or semester
    1. Select a new session from the SESSION field
    2. Select a new term from the TERM field
    3. Click SET button to commit the newly made changes
